The newly expanded aquatic centre at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex officially opened to the public on July 20, 2026. This milestone follows the spring rollout of its 65,000-square-foot community centre expansion, which debuted a new gym, fitness facilities, and the permanent Sixteen Mile Branch Library.
