My Stand
Ward 7 does not need another councillor who waits to see which way the wind blows. It needs someone who walks in with a clear position, defends it with evidence, and answers to residents — not to developers, not to political convenience.
These are not talking points. They are the commitments I will be held to from the first day I take my seat at the Council table.
Safety Is Non-Negotiable
Every resident of Ward 7 deserves to feel safe on their street, in their park, and at their front door. I will push for traffic calming measures, well-lit public spaces, and a direct line between residents and the services that protect them. Safety is not a campaign promise — it is a baseline obligation of every councillor.
Growth Must Be Controlled & Earned
Oakville is growing fast. That growth must serve existing residents first — not developers' bottom lines. I will vote against any development that outpaces infrastructure, strains services, or erodes the character of our neighbourhoods. Controlled growth means saying no when no is the right answer.
Schools & Daycare Before Subdivisions
You cannot approve thousands of new homes and then shrug when families have nowhere to send their children. I will hold the Town accountable to demand school sites and licensed daycare capacity as conditions of growth — not afterthoughts. Our kids are not a line item.
Facilities Proportionate to Population
Community centres, libraries, recreation facilities, and transit must scale with the people who need them. I will fight for capital investment in Ward 7 that is proportionate to our population — not left behind while other parts of the town are served first.
Services That Reach Every Resident
Seniors, newcomers, young families, and people with disabilities all depend on community services that actually show up. I will scrutinise every budget line to ensure Ward 7 residents receive their fair share of social, recreational, and support services — not promises.
Transparency at Every Vote
Residents deserve to know exactly why their councillor voted the way they did. I will publish clear explanations of every significant vote, attend every Council and committee meeting, and hold regular open sessions so Ward 7 is never left guessing where I stand.
This Is What Ward 7 Deserves
A councillor who shows up, speaks plainly, and puts residents above politics. If that is the Ward 7 you want, I am asking for your vote on October 26, 2026.
